From Canadian pickup to Nigerian arrival
Start with the vehicle year, make, model, pickup address, running condition and destination. DAKREZT reviews the inland transport and ocean-shipping options before you book. Pickup can be arranged from a home, dealership, private seller or eligible auction location.
After release is confirmed, the vehicle is transported to the agreed shipping or loading location. Export preparation, shipping documents and a vessel booking must be coordinated before departure. Arrival, clearance and any onward delivery in Nigeria depend on the services included in your agreement.
Choose container or RoRo shipping
Container shipping places the vehicle inside a shipping container. Loading arrangements, vehicle dimensions and permitted contents need approval. RoRo moves eligible vehicles onto a vessel by its loading system; running condition and carrier requirements matter. Neither option is available on every schedule.
Ask for a comparison covering inland pickup, ocean freight, handling, documentation and destination charges. Confirm which charges are included and which are payable separately.
Documents and preparation
Have proof of purchase or ownership ready, along with the VIN and buyer or consignee details. The exact documents depend on the vehicle, seller, carrier and current export and import requirements. DAKREZT can explain what is needed for your proposed shipment.
Remove valuables, photograph the condition and disclose damage, fluid leaks, modifications or a non-running engine. Do not place personal goods inside the vehicle without written approval.
Costs, schedules and arrival
Quotes vary with distance, vehicle size and condition, shipping method, carrier space and the destination services requested. A pickup date is not a vessel departure date. Ask for separate estimates for inland transport, loading, sailing and clearance.
Nigeria-bound arrangements include Lagos. Confirm the current arrival port, consignee responsibilities and any clearance or delivery support before committing to a booking.
